Swelltite® membranes are high-strength composite products that provide dual waterproofing protection. Swelltite® combines the natural waterproofing abilities of Volclay® bentonite and butyl rubber with the strength and puncture resistance of a geomembrane liner. If water penetrates the liner layer, the bentonite activates and stops the water.
Swelltite® membranes are easy to install. They can be applied in all weather conditions to green concrete without primer or adhesives. Swelltite® is conveniently packaged in easy to handle 1.02 metre wide protected rolls. The unique design also eliminates the use of release paper and the tough geomembrane liner eliminates the need for protection board for most installations.
