T1000 is a medium pile, sand filled, tennis surface. It provides a hard wearing, longer lasting surface, designed for clubs and multi sport use in schools that have a high usage on their courts.
Tournament 1000 uses our fibrillated yarn, the increased stitch rate provides a harder wearing surface which give a natural, looking, less sandy finished and provides a court that club members will love playing on.
It is a lot faster than a natural grass surface while still being more forgiving than other harder surfaces - a great combination for young players who are constantly learning. It allows players to slide into shots, meaning they get plenty of action on the ball in competitions, while being lenient of their joints.
It is an ideal surface for older players too as it is kind to their knees and joints.
