Cock-beaded drawer pockets, floating panels, dove-tail locked reverse ends, hand-thicknessing... the techniques of the old guilds that need a kind of craftsman's affection for the task that makes them very rare today… they are the hallmark of Ashton Grove.

The Finish
All Ashton Grove pieces are finished by hand using traditional French polishing techniques. Ashton Grove uses only the finest shellacs and waxes. The result is a patina that, with its hand applied imperfections is, paradoxically, perfect.
