PermaPave
Permpave is a permeable natural stone paver system, made from a variety of attractive New Zealand stone, that allows rainwater to flow through the body of the paver, (at a rate of no less than 30 litres/m2 per second), thereby returning it to earth's acquifer -a huge advantage when planning how to control stormwater outflow on a site and influencing site coverage ratios.
Permapave pavers filter 100% of gross pollutants from stormwater run off and slow stormwater outflow, whilst providing the durable surface required by our urban way of life.
Developed in Australia and used worldwide, the PermapaveTM paver systems are made under license in New Zealand, and are suitable for use in commercial or residential applications including driveways, verges, pathways, pool surrounds, patios, rooftop patios, car park areas and tree surrounds.
The pavers are easily laid over a sound substrate; bedded in gravel and butt jointed or grouted with polymer concrete. Permapave pavers will slow and dissipate the water captured from surrounding impervious surfaces. The pavers are easily cleaned by vacuum extraction.
Paver sizes are 300mm x 300mm x 50mm and 400mm x 400mm x 50mm. A variety of natural stone colours are available, which may change periodically as new stone is obtained.
